IU -ALUMNI INNOVATOR: Isak Nti Asare (B.A. ’11, Linguistics, Political Science) is the associate director of the Indiana University Cybersecurity and Global Policy Program. He is also a senior associate at Oxford Insights, a fellow at the IU Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research, and co-founder of FairFrame — a startup using natural language processing to identify implicit bias in text. Nti Asare has advised national and local governments on the strategic, cultural, and leadership opportunities from digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI). For example, he co-authored Mexico's National AI Strategy, co-founded the UK cross-governmental community of practice on AI, and co-authored the first city-led AI strategy in the United States.


IU 2012–2020: IU establishes or reconfigures seven schools, including IUPUI’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health; and at IU Bloomington, the School of Public Health, the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture, and Design, and The Media School.
